Fun Facts About Me
I lived in Australia for about a year after completing my dietetic internship. My love of good coffee started here.
One of my favorite bands inspired the name of my practice: Elephant Revival. Bluegrass and folk music are two of my favorite genres.
I don’t actually love to cook all the time! My interest and investment in cooking fluctuates.
I worked as a server and housekeeper at a remote fishing lodge in Alaska for two summers. This was one of the greatest adventures of my life.
Core Values
Guiding my business decisions and counseling practices
Love
The reason for it all!
My hope is that this work will contribute to your capacity to experience more love in your life and carry more love into the world.
Justice
I hold justice a core value, knowing that fighting for equity & equality for all people will only benefit each and every one of us.
I believe the opportunity to heal, and to access spaces in which it’s safe to explore and challenge biases and stigma, with an emphasis on those related to diet-and-weight in this context, will only support your ability to value and move closer to others in the world at large.
I hold hope for a more compassionate, kind, and connected world.
Adventure
When possible, I love working with clients to create more space for fun, play, and adventure.
The constant hustle to feel ‘good enough’ according to the values of our culture threatens to keep our worlds and focus small.
Adventure can be a beautiful antidote to this mode of survival and create room for perspective, joy, discomfort, and growth.
